One of Brazil’s largest multi-sport clubs, with strong cultural, sports, and member networking presence. With a solid structure and rigorous governance, the institution values excellence in its processes, including new member admissions, historically manual and based on formal referrals.

The Challenge

The new member admission process was highly dependent on human verification and subjective decisions. With an increase in applications, there was a need to make the process faster, safer, and more technologically advanced. The club sought a model that maintained traditional selectivity while leveraging data, artificial intelligence, and automation.

How We Supported

Through the GX2 Innovation Lab, we developed an AI-powered system to automate the screening of prospective members in three main stages:

• Prototyping and concept validation: Created a prototype simulating the full evaluation journey, focused on the admissions team experience.
• AI engine development: The system analyzes documents, recognizes patterns in images (such as profile photos), performs automated checks in external sources (e.g., government registries and credit bureaus), and conducts initial digital presence and social media analysis.
• Integration with legacy systems: Integrated the AI layer with existing systems while respecting internal workflows and governance.

• Significant reduction in screening time, automating initial candidate analysis.
• Increased reliability of evaluations using objective data from structured and unstructured sources.
• Streamlined decision-making, providing the board with pre-analyzed reports including indicators and candidate risk assessment.
