Once again, GX2 has pushed the boundaries of innovation by applying generative artificial intelligence to a project that connects technology with people’s daily lives: an intelligent automotive assistant capable of providing practical, immediate support to drivers facing common vehicle-related questions.

The Challenge

Many drivers encounter situations where they need help but don’t have quick access to the right information or the necessary support. Changing a tire, identifying dashboard alerts, or knowing what to do in the event of engine overheating are recurring questions, especially for new drivers or those unfamiliar with vehicle maintenance.

With this in mind, GX2 was challenged to create a solution that could be with drivers at all times, delivering clear, safe, and accessible information, without relying on a mechanic’s presence or high-speed internet access.

The Client

The project was developed in partnership with one of the largest automotive manufacturers in the world, with a global presence and a vast portfolio of renowned brands. The company invests heavily in innovation, connectivity, and electrification, leading initiatives that drive the digital transformation of the automotive experience.

The Solution

Our response was the development of a generative AI–powered virtual automotive assistant, able to interact with drivers via voice or text through their smartphone or the car’s own infotainment system.

The AI was trained with real data from the vehicle’s manuals and tutorial videos from YouTube, delivering contextualized and up-to-date content for questions such as:

  • “How do I change my car’s tire?”
  • “What does this lit symbol on the dashboard mean?”
  • “Can I drive with the ABS warning light on?”
  • “What should I do if the engine overheats?”

In addition, the assistant was designed to offer an intuitive user experience, with natural language and direct answers, reinforcing accessibility and empowering drivers with autonomy.

The Results

In the first phase of the project, we were able to validate both the technical feasibility and user adoption of the solution. Testing showed:

  • High user engagement with the assistant
  • Increased confidence in handling minor automotive incidents
  • Improved driving experience, especially in emergencies or situations without internet access

Conclusion

This case demonstrates the potential of generative AI when applied creatively and functionally to people’s everyday routines. By transforming technical knowledge into accessible conversations, GX2 contributes to safer, more convenient, and smarter mobility.
